Neighbourhood Festival has announced the first wave of acts set to take to the Manchester festival in October with local stars Pale Waves to headline this year.
The popular event took a break last year but is set to come back with a bang with a stellar first handful of artists confirmed on Monday morning. Famous Manchester venues in the Ritz, Gorilla and Albert Hall are all signed up to host sets with more than 100 acts set to play on Saturday, October 5.
Former The Vamps frontman, Bradley Simpson, is also on the bill ahead of what looks to be a huge second half of 2024. The star is set to release his debut solo album and is embarking on a headline UK tour with plenty of hype around singles ‘Picasso’ and ‘Cry at the Moon’ so far.
Other names sure to turn heads include Corella, Louis Dunford and Red Rum Club, as well as Pixey and Good Neighbours. Rising star Alessi Rose is also on the line-up – the Chappell Roan-inspired star recently debuted at St Pancras Old Church and supported pop superstar Fletcher at the Eventim Apollo last week.
Soft Launch are also booked to play the event. The five-piece have burst onto the scene this year, supporting Declan McKenna and releasing debut single ‘Cartwheels’ in April.
Tickets for Neighbourhood Festival go on sale from 9 am on Friday, May 24.
