Sydnie Christmas, the powerhouse vocalist who captured the nation’s hearts as the winner of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent (BGT), has just released her much-anticipated debut album My Way. Released via Westway Music, the album’s title track was the standout performance that saw Sydnie soar through the semi-finals of BGT, captivating millions.
Reflecting on her debut release, Sydnie shared: “My album is an introduction to my story; every song on it has a purpose and has been part of my journey in some way. My tour will be a more detailed version of the album, and bigger! I’m incredibly honoured and proud, this is the album of dreams for me as I never thought I’d be so lucky to be making an album.”
The tracklist of My Way blends Sydnie’s powerful vocal abilities with deeply personal choices, each song playing a significant role in her career and life journey. Here’s the complete list of songs:
- My Way
- Tomorrow
- Somewhere Over The Rainbow
- Believer
- She Used To Be Mine
- Gone Under
- The Impossible Dream
- Hall Of Fame
- Starlight Express
- Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
- O Holy Night
Sydnie’s journey to stardom wasn’t without its challenges. After a series of failed auditions, she saw Britain’s Got Talent as her final chance to make an impression. But little did she know, she would not only impress but also receive the Golden Buzzer from Amanda Holden and go on to win the entire competition.
Following her BGT victory, Sydnie has a busy few months ahead. One of the standout moments will be her performance at The Royal Variety Performance, a prestigious tradition for BGT winners. She’s also set to perform at the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles as part of a special birthday celebration for 16-time Grammy Award winner David Foster. Foster, who has worked with legendary artists like Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, and Aretha Franklin, was blown away by Sydnie’s voice during her BGT performances.
Come December, Sydnie will return to her hometown for the festive season, starring as Fairy Christmas in Dartford’s Orchard West’s production of Sleeping Beauty. And the excitement doesn’t end there — in February 2025, she will embark on her debut UK solo headline tour, performing in some of the country’s most renowned venues.
