The final of the talent show, Britain’s Got Talent, was originally due to air on Sunday night. However, ITV have moved the show to Saturday night to avoid distracting from the Ariana Grande One Love Manchester tribute concert on Sunday evening.
BBC are airing the tribute concert on Sunday night at 6pm, which is set to raise millions for the victims of the attack. ITV do not wish to take the attention away from the concert.
Ariana will return to Manchester on Sunday with special guests including Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Usher, Take That, Justin Bieber and more to raise money for the victims of the Manchester terror attack last week.
The British Soap Awards, which were due to be aired live for the first time this year on Saturday night at 8pm on ITV, will now air on Tuesday 6th June at 8pm. The awards ceremony will still take place on Saturday in Manchester but will be pre-recorded and aired three days later.
Britain’s Got Talent continues tonight with the third semi final of the week. The final will now take place on Saturday 3rd June at 8pm.
