If you’re going to tour with Queens of the Stone Age, you’ve got to be extremely talented, and that’s exactly what Broncho is! We think you know where we’re going with this. So yes, Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age personally selected Broncho to open for them on the Villains Tour!
But who is Broncho you may be asking? Broncho is a band consisting of Ryan Lindsey, Nathan Price, Ben King, and Penny Pitchlynn. They deliver an indie and garage rock sound that takes us back to the past, similar to bands like Arctic Monkeys and Foster The People!
After opening for bands like Cage the Elephant and Portugal, The Man, Broncho is now here with their third full length album (Bad Behavior) and new music video for “Big City Boys.”
In the director’s (Richard Farmer) clip for “Big City Boys,” you see people brawling, drinking, racing cars, and engaging in the kind of situations that you’d see in small-time gangster movie at first glance. But what’s cool about this video is that Richard and Broncho manage to shock the expectations of the audience by casting women in ALL of the roles!
Didn’t think that would happen with a title like “Big City Boys,” right?
