Just a few weeks after winning their first Teen Choice Award, BTS have confirmed they will be releasing a new album on September 18th through Big Hit Entertainment.

North American fans can pre-order the album now on Amazon.

Their upcoming project is part of their Love Yourself series, with the first installment called Love Yourself: Her.

Apart from receiving a physical copy of the CD, fans will also receive several goods such as photocards, stickers, a poster, and more, when they pre-order the album through Amazon. This not only marks the first time Big Hit Entertainment will be selling through the site, but also the first time purchases will count towards Hanteo, Gaon, and Billboard charts.

According to Soompi, when asked about the move, a source from Big Hit said, “We have consistently had requests regarding album sales in the United States. Thus [the albums] will be distributed via Amazon which is the largest online market in the United States. We prepared a way for North American fans to buy albums through official means.”

Previously, fans living outside of South Korea would need to purchase the group’s music through their official website. Due to high shipping rates, the cost of their purchase would get pricey. By expanding to Amazon, North American fans can purchase the group’s music at a more affordable price.

The decision comes just as BTS continues to achieve international success in North America. In May, they became the first Korean act to receive a Billboard Music Award, and most recently, they received their first Teen Choice Award for “Choice International Artist.”

Love Yourself: Her will be the group’s first musical release since February.
