BTS recently joined Brooke Reese for a Chart Takeover on Beats 1. Not only did they play tracks from Love Yourself: Tear in addition to some of Apple Music’s biggest songs of the moment, but they also made time for an interview.
RM, V, Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, Suga, and J-Hope spoke about everything from their new album to their most surprising celebrity fan. When asked about their musical inspirations, their favourites ranged from Eminem to Charlie Puth whilst they also revealed that coffee, Yankee Candles and doughnuts were among their studio must-haves.
RM also explained the meaning behind Love Yourself: Tear, stating that “Basically our album is a four-part series. It’s about love. This is part three so it’s like a turning point, and we’re saying if you’re not true to yourself, your love won’t last forever.”
