BTS’ music video for their hit single “DNA” has finally surpassed 100 million views!
The music video initially released on September 19th, the same day as their EP Love Yourself: Her. Of course, the group’s fans have been consistently watching the music video ever since its release, making the video the fastest to reach 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, and now 100 million views in a record-breaking time of just 24 days and hour. “DNA” is now the fastest video by a K-Pop group to reach the 100-million mark, beating BLACKPINK’s previous record for their video “As If It’s Your Last,” which took 46 days, almost twice as long as “DNA.”

“DNA” has received special recognition not only in South Korea, but from all over the world. This past Saturday, the single was played on over 170 radio stations across the United States and Canada as part of “Most Requested Live,” an interactive segment where listeners send in their song requests.
The single has also won a total of eight awards across different Korean shows since its release.
While BTS officially wrapped up promotions for Love Yourself: Her last week on Inkigayo, their Countdown performance aired yesterday (Oct. 12th) on Korean channel Mnet. For the first time on TV, the group sang “Tomorrow,” “Like,” “Cypher 4,” and “Lost,” along with hits “Dope,” “Go Go, “Mic Drop,” and “DNA.” The group previously appeared on Mnet for their Comeback Special, which aired on September 21st.
Although “DNA” and Love Yourself:Her have only been out for a few weeks, we aren’t surprised at their success. As Rap Monster said, “Teamwork makes the dream work,” and BTS and their ARMYs have surely proven that.
