BTS is returning to The Ellen Show!

Just a couple of weeks before the South Korean boy band comes back with their new full album Love Yourself: Tear, a statement was released revealing they’ll return on the American talk show’s stage as well! The news comes from a source inside BigHit Entertainment, the group’s agency, who told the Korean newspaper OSEN that the group is currently arranging their schedule on the show.

This will be BTS’s second appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, after their first on the 27th of November last year, during their American press tour that followed the first performance by a K-pop group on the AMAs. Considering this, it doesn’t sound surprising that the boy band will return on the show after making history again by becoming the first Korean artist to perform at the BBMAs as well, a performance they revealed to be extremely excited for via their Instagram.

The band will appear on the talk show on May 25, just a week after their comeback and a couple of days after the Billboard awards show, on which they’re nominated for Top Social Artist for the second year in a row, another notch to add to their record belt. One recently thrown in was for the number of pre-sales as the new album, Love Yourself: Tear, although basically nothing about it was released to the public, has already broken the band’s previous record for pre-orders on online retailers and such, with 1,449,287 stock pre-orders as of April 24.

As if this wasn’t enough, news got out that BTS will be performing their new song on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which appears to be called ‘Fake Love’ according to a couple of sources; BigHit Entertainment has yet to confirm this, but some fans may have found out it wouldn’t be that much of a stretch…
