BTS has just uploaded not one, but two videos on their ‘BANGTANTV‘ YouTube channel. The pair of videos gives fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into their newest music video for “DNA,” along with the photoshoot for their latest album Love Yourself: Her.
In the making of the “DNA” music video, we see the guys going from set-to-set performing their impressive choreography in front of colorful backdrops. The behind-the-scenes music video comes two weeks after the official music video was released. Since its debut, BTS has become the fastest K-Pop group to reach 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and now 80 millions views! The group hit the 80-million mark at just 15 days and 9 hours, beating the previous record set by BLACKPINK’s “As If It Was Your Last” music video, which reached the milestone in 32 days and one hour.
The second video shows the guys on the set of their Love Yourself: Her photoshoot, where we see them in alternating locations to accompany each of the four versions of their album: L, O, V, and E.
With their recent comeback, BTS has set a record for being the highest-charting K-Pop group on the Billboard ‘Hot 100’ for “DNA,” which came at the #67 spot. The achievement makes them the second highest-charting Korean act overall, coming behind PSY’s “Gangnam Style.”
While the guys have been busy promoting their new album since it released, they are now taking a break for the Chuseok holiday. To celebrate, the group shared the 22nd episode of ‘Run BTS! 2017,’ which shows the guys playing traditional games while also wearing traditional Korean garments.
Although the seven members may be on break, their group of fans (appropriately named the ARMY) are continuing to work hard to keep the guys on the Billboard charts, and with the rate both Love Yourself: Her and “DNA” have been rising on the charts, we’re sure that won’t be a problem at all.
