Yes, you read it right! Busted are back! And this time, old band member Charlie Simpson is joining them!
Matt Willis, James Bourne and Charlie Simpson will be touring as Busted across the UK in May 2016 and we couldn’t be anymore happier!
The ‘Year 3000’ singers split in 2005 when Charlie decided to leave the band to join alternative rock band Fightstar, followed by Matt and James teaming up with their pals in McFly to create the super group McBusted in 2013. Charlie was offered to join McBusted but denied the offer to focus on Fightstar. James and Matt had made the comment that “Pigs would fly” before Charlie ever re-joined McBusted.
Charlie had vowed that he would never come back ‘in a million years’ but it seems he’s had a change of heart!
“I felt a huge amount of guilt when I left Busted for the first time.” Charlie explained “Because I knew they didn’t want to stop.”
The boys released a video to announce the reunion this morning, showing James, Matt and Charlie reuniting in an arena, and reminiscing on the old times, how cute!
Tickets go on sale Friday 13th November at 9am!
