In the best news since the air date for series 5 was revealed, The Peaky Blinders have announced a special launch weekend, where we not only get an episode on the Sunday but also one on the bank holiday Monday, the next day.
The series 5 premiere ‘Black Tuesday‘, will air at 9 pm on Sunday, August 25, but it’s also been confirmed that second episode ‘Black Cats’ will air at 9.30 pm on Monday, August 26 as well, which makes us very excited.
In ‘Black Tuesday’ we will see The Shelby family brought back together after the news of the Wall Street crash and them loosing a fair bit of money, which has a lasting affect on the family business and on Tommy’s growing political career. Then we have ‘Black Cats’ where Tommy receive a call from a very mysterious new ally who tells him some potentially devastating information. He is also sent a message from a rival group in a rather brutal way.
Peaky Blinders season 5 returns to BBC One on Sunday, August 25 at 9 pm and 5 October on Netflix.
