Calum Scott continues to demonstrate his personal growth with the release of ‘At Your Worst’ – an upbeat, self-aware, super melodic pop song that sees the singer make peace with his perceived imperfections to realise he is worthy of being loved.

Co-written and produced by Digital Farm Animals (Dua Lipa, Rita Ora, Jonas Brothers) and Jon “MAGS” Maguire (Scott’s longtime collaborator and co-writer) the 80’s sounding, life-affirming track arrives hot on the heels of “Whistle” – his chart busting collaboration with Jax Jones – and serves as his first solo single since the mid-2022 release of his acclaimed sophomore album “Bridges”.

Via a press release the multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter says of the single: “‘At Your Worst’ was born from a feeling that sometimes it might be hard for someone to love me because of my anxieties, my time away, my self-doubt — but also from the realisation that we are all worthy of being loved no matter our flaws or insecurities.”

“This could be a song reassuring someone that you’ll love them no matter what, but it’s also song to yourself: a reminder that you should love yourself at your worst, because self-love is the most important. The sound on this one feels nostalgic and retro to me — kind of takes me back to my Sega Mega Drive. I’m excited to share new music with my fans and show everyone what I’ve been working on!”

With a string of summer festival dates already booked in, and the promise of more live shows to come, Callum Scott is already looking ahead to 2024 with the announcement he is to hold a headline show at London’s Eventim Apollo next year.

Titled “The Songbook So Far”, the gig will take place on March 12th, and will pay homage to the “Biblical” singers biggest hits and celebrate his decade-long career so far.

Tickets for the extra-special show are on-sale now.
