With two weeks to go until the release of Calvin Harris’ new album, the Scottish DJ has treated fans to the release of a track called ‘Feels’.
Teaming up with Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and Big Sean, ‘Feels’ is a laidback offering which is perfect as an end-of-summer jam. Pharrell takes control of the verses whilst Katy croons effortlessly over the playful chorus. Big Sean comes in near the end to deliver a slick rap which ties the track together.

‘Feels’ is the fourth song to be unveiled from Calvin’s forthcoming fifth studio album, Funk Wav Bounces Vol.1. He previously released ‘Heatstroke’ featuring Young Thug, Pharrell Williams and Ariana Grande, ‘Rollin’ featuring Future and Khalid, and ‘Slide’ featuring Frank Ocean and Migos. ‘Feels’ further demonstrates that Calvin is enjoying experimenting with his sound on this record, as each track so far strays away from thumping, anthemic quality which usually resides within his music.
Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 is already bursting with huge name collabs, although we can expect even more when the album drops in a fortnight. Among the other confirmed names are Kehlani, John Legend, Nicki Minaj, PartyNextDoor, and Snoop Dogg.
