Coachella is known for its surprises, including special guests during performances.
Sunday night’s headliner Calvin Harris took special guests to another level, with not one but THREE performers making surprise appearances during his set. The Scottish DJ surprised the Coachella audience by bringing on Big Sean, John Newman and Rihanna!
Big Sean joined Calvin to perform ‘I Don’t F**k With You’ and ‘Open Wide’, whilst John Newman wowed the crowd with their number one hit ‘Blame’.
The biggest cheer of the night however, was reserved for Rihanna, who took to the stage to perform her and Calvin’s 2011 hit ‘We Found Love’. The Bajan singer, dressed in a baseball cap, jeans and an incredible tassled jacket, sent the crowd crazy as she sang one of their best known hits. Check out the performance for yourself below!

Calvin and his special guests whipped the crowd into a frenzy and he proved to be a great headliner. Something that perhaps made the night even more special for Calvin was the fact that he had his very own cheerleader in the audience, his girlfriend Taylor Swift. Some Coachella goers had hoped that Taylor might have made a surprise appearance on stage with Calvin, however, she seemed happy enough just enjoying the show and supporting from the crowd. She even had a big hug with Rihanna after the show!

Calvin Harris wasn’t the only star to bring out some surprise guests over the weekend. Kanye West made an appearance with A$AP Rocky whilst Kesha made a welcome return to the stage following her ongoing legal battle with Dr Luke and Sony. The singer performed a poignant song called ‘True Colours’ with Zedd and received an incredible response from the crowd.
