Camila Cabello is bringing the summer vibes with two brand new songs from her forthcoming album, The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving.
‘Havana’ and ‘OMG’ have just been made available to download and stream after Camila appeared on Beats 1 with Zane Lowe. Whilst Camila has performed both tracks live recently, we’ve been patiently awaiting the completed studio versions. After teasing the releases on social media, we can safely say that the singer has blown us away once again.
The first track, ‘Havana’ featuring Young Thug, hooks you in immediately. There is an overall sexy, chilled vibe to the track, which pays tribute to Camila’s Cuban roots. We guarantee that the song will be stuck in your head after just one listen. ‘Havana’ was produced by Frank Dukes and was co-written by Camila alongside Young Thug, Brittany Hazard, Ali Tamposi, Brian Lee, Andrew Watt, Pharrell Williams, and Louis Bell.
‘OMG’ is the second track and features rapper of the moment, Quavo. The flirty offering has a slick RnB vibe to it and showcases another side to the songstress. Speaking about the song with Zane Lowe, Camila said: “We wrote it as this girl squad and about pulling up to the boys. Just having that swagger.” The track is today’s Beats1 World Record and was played exclusively on Zane’s Beats 1 show. Produced by Stargate, ‘OMG’ was co-written by Camila with Quavo, Charli XCX, Noonie Bao, and Sasha Sloan.
During her chat with Zane, Camila said that these two songs aren’t necessarily singles but are released in honour of her support slot on Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic World Tour.

‘Havana’ and ‘OMG’ follow on from Camila’s previously released solo offerings, ‘Crying in the Club’ and ‘I Have Questions’. Despite being released back in May, ‘Crying in the Club’ continues to climb the UK chart, reaching a new peak of number 12 last week. All four tracks will appear on her forthcoming debut solo album, The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving. Having told Zane that the album is complete, we can hopefully expect it to be released in September.
In addition to her glittering music career, Camila has also stepped into the world of modelling. The beauty was revealed as the face of the GUESS Jeans Fall 2017 campaign in June, whilst also being unveiled as a L’Oreal Paris spokesperson earlier this week.
