Carnage and Timmy Trumpet team up for “Nah Nah”

Carnage has teamed up with Australian DJ and producer Timmy Trumpet for his latest release, “Nah Nah”, which features the hardstyle DJ duo Wicked Minds.

The song is a hard hitting hardstyle-esque club banger, which also takes inspiration from the Melbourne bass scene and Carnage’s signature festival trap style. This is also the duo’s second collaboration – their first, “Toca”, was released in 2015.

Carnage has made a name for himself as one of the first artists to transition electronic music into urban and hip hop styles and has collaborated with many well known artists on hits such as “I Like Tuh” (with ilovmakonnen), “Bricks” (with hip hop duo Migos), “Down For Me” with rapper G-Eazy, and “Homie” with rapper Meek Mill.

He also founded his own record label, Heavyweight Records in 2017, which is home to hard bass and hip hop artists such as GRAVEDGR, Gommi and Sludge. Carnage previously took a break in 2018 to focus on his mental health, and came back with a bang earlier in 2019 with “Letting People Go” with G-Eazy, and “Wait For Me” with Wiz Khalifa.

Timmy Trumpet has also made an impact too – with his blend of EDM and jazz, he has had hits in his native Australia with tracks like “Freaks” (with Savage), “Nightmare” and “Hipsta” (with Chardy).
