We have new music from Cassadee Pope and we are living for it. “One More Red Light” is newly released today, and it’s beyond addicting. The song is the follow-up to “Take You Home” which she released in March 2018.

Cassadee Pope has been in the music industry for over ten years now; she went viral as the frontwoman of the rock band Hey Monday, who went on to receive moderate success before going on an indefinite hiatus – we very much doubt they’ll ever reform. After going solo for some time, she decided to audition for the third season of the US version of The Voice, which she later went on to win. Now, she’s totally on country music form, having gone on to release a debut album, a second EP (following on from her debut EP which she released after Hey Monday disbanded), and multiple singles all of which have appeared on some sort of chart around the world. Not only that, she has collaborated with the likes of I See Stars, The Cab, All Time Low, Yellowcard, and Chris Young, the latter of which, titled “Think Of You”, became a country hit and landed her a nomination for the Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. Her career is set to continue to rise, and we wouldn’t be surprised if an international hit is on the horizon for her.

Her brand new song, “One More Red Light”, definitely shows how far she has come as an artist, and we can only hope that her new releases are in anticipation of a new album – although, more than likely, a new EP will be released, soon.

Listen To Cassadee Pope’s Brand New Single “One More Red Light” Here:

This is one solid country track, telling a story from start to finish. Cassadee Pope’s vocals are on point throughout as she impresses with strength and emotion, really connecting with the song and sending it to the viewers. It’s got a tuneful backing track that reminds us of something the Rascal Flatts would release; whereas the lyrics touch upon wanting to make the night drag out so that she can spend as much time as she can with the person she’s on a date with – gosh, don’t we all know this feeling.

“One More Red Light” is available to download and stream right now, via Awake Music. We sure hope that Cassadee Pope continues to release more new music this year because her voice is just magical.
