Chloe Noelle has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry pretty quickly in her career with her memorable roles, positive spirit and unquestionable talent. Her role as Emma Garza on HBO’s hit TV seriesTrue Blood made her an instant star.
Chloe was able to chat with us about some of her favorite roles, and what made her want to be in the entertainment industry.
Hello, Chloe! Thank you for taking time out of your day and chatting with CelebMix!
Thank you for chatting with me!
When you found out that you were nominated for both a Young Entertainer Award and a Young Artist Award what was your first reaction?
I was shocked and SO EXCITED!! I had to do some impressions for the role on New Girl and I worked really hard for both the audition and working on set! It was so nice to be acknowledged for all that work!
What made you want to get into acting?
My mom said she knew from when I was 2 or 3 that I would be a performer! I would look for any chance to perform for people! Then when I was 5 I had a very small role in a community theater project and I was hooked! I did some more theater and then started in Movies and TV. I think it’s just always been a part of who I am.
What has been your favorite role so far?
Emma Garza on True Blood is my favorite. It was the most challenging for me because a lot of the scenes I would be in would be very emotional scenes that required me to cry on cue. Those were hard especially when we had to do a lot of takes. It was difficult for me being so young but it was a skill I was able to learn early on that has really helped me in my career.
You played Emma in a more dramatic role on True Blood and Crystal on the comedy New Girl both so well, what was your favorite thing about playing each character?
Emma on True Blood was so much fun because my character was a werewolf being raised by two shapeshifters so there were ALWAYS animals on set! I got to work with dogs, rabbits, owls and even a baby goat!
Crystal was fun because it was such a silly story line. My “Family” was staying at Jess’s apartment in LA while she was away on jury duty! I do some random and inappropriate impressions of Al Pacino and my family thinks I could be a star! In one scene that was cut and didn’t make the show we got to destroy Schmidt’s room and I was jumping on the bed throwing cheese puffs everywhere! It was just so silly and fun.
