This Friday, October 6th, Simon Webbe will release his latest solo single ‘Flashback’.
The song, the second cut to be taken from Simon’s upcoming brand-new solo album ‘Smile’, serves as the follow up to lead single ‘Nothing Without You’ which hit the airwaves earlier this summer.
In a bid to make an extra special music video to accompany ‘Flashback’, Simon asked fans to post their favourite photographs and videos of themselves with him, and/or Blue, on social media using the hashtag #SimonFlashback.
And after an overwhelming response, Simon and his team have created a touching video that acts as a thank you and tribute to those fans who have supported Blue and Webbe for the past 16 years.

‘Smile’ will be Simon’s first solo musical release in over 10 years, following 2005’s ‘Sanctuary’ and 2006’s ‘Grace’.
Speaking ahead of his return to the music scene as a solo artist, Simon admits the break between albums was not intentional.
“To be honest I didn’t realise that much time had passed because I’ve still been going out there and doing a lot of gigs abroad.”
“Because I’ve had so much time out of the game, I’ve got so much more to say now.”
“I needed to evolve as an artist and I needed to close a chapter, and that’s what I’ve done with this album.”
As for his hopes for his third solo record, Simon says it’s simple “I want to bring hope and happiness to everyone who hears ‘Smile’.”
“If I can change one person’s life with this album then I’ve done my job.”
