Here at CelebMix, we love nothing more than introducing our readers to new, up and coming talent. In this particular article, we introduce you to Iyla – a Los Angeles singer songwriter, who has just released her debut EP ‘War + Raindrops’, released via 3T Ent/Astra Velum/EMPIRE.
Having released her debut single towards the end of last year, Iyla has since amassed more than 10-million combined streams across Spotify, Apple and YouTube. Additionally, she was recently announced as one of YouTube Music’s 2019 Foundry Artists and will receive digital billboards in New York City and Los Angeles starting April 25, as well as social media support, programming and play listing on YouTube. 2018’s Foundry graduate was none other than the now global sensation Rosalia.
Iyla’s latest single ‘Juice’ is an alternative R and B track which is soulful, sweet yet a little bit street as she oozes a cool girl energy on the laid back yet punchy instrumental.
‘Juice’ is taken from her debut EP ‘War + Raindrops’ which features 4 additional brand new songs ‘Flowers’, ‘Shampoo’, ‘California’, and ‘Power’.
This week Iyla released episode 1 of her ‘I am Iyla’ mini-documentary series on YouTube. The first episode, called ‘JOURNEY TO EMPIRE’, shares her monumental signing to the label, revealing intimate moments with her team and family members as she embarks on her journey towards musical stardom.
