Walker Stalker Con is a convention that brings you zombies, sci-fi characters, and lots of horror all packed into one gory fun filled weekend. There are ten events across the world, spanning cities like Denver and Chicago, a cruise out of Miami, and jumping the pond over to London – these events have made a mark in the past and 2016’s Walker Stalker Con is no different.
CelebMix is taking our first trip to Walker Stalker Con on April 9th and 10th in Music City Nashville, Tennessee and we couldn’t be more excited. Not only are we in for a weekend full of horror and zombies – our favorites – but the line up for the event is absolutely mind-blowing and don’t even get us started on the schedule of events. You’ve got to make it out!
And that’s only five of them!
We’re talking cast members from The Walking Dead, Bates Motel, The Vampire Diaries, Z-Nation, and Breaking Bad (just to name a few) in one area for one weekend that is sure to top anything else you do this year. Not only are you getting an inside look at some of your favorite television characters and incredible artists that help make it all possible, you’re getting to hang out with other people – just like yourself – and making memories that will last a lifetime.

Walker Stalker Con is the fruit of The Walker Stalkers Podcast with James & Eric. The podcast began with an amazing trip to Senoia, GA where James & Eric were able to view the set of The Walking Dead and meet the incredible actors from the show. As a result of this experience, a podcast began and then the idea of a convention focused around recreating that same experience with the cast and crew of the show, along with talented actors and artists from other zombie shows, movies and art.
Walker Stalker Con is not just a convention. It is a fan meet-up and an opportunity for each guest to come away feeling like they’ve had an amazing experience and became part of a greater community of zombie lovers! Walker Stalker Con is three days of events, panels, and experiences that zombie fans won’t find anywhere else!
This is truly an experience not to be missed if you’re a fan of zombies and all things undead.
The three main events of the weekend are held both Saturday and Sunday and include any Walking Dead fan’s biggest dream and an opportunity to become one of the undead yourself.
On Saturday you can visit Tate Steinsiek’s Bringing the Dead to Life which displays cosplay techniques on creating the perfect zombie look. Not only can you learn these techniques, you have the opportunity to have a mini session with Tate himself and get your zombie makeup done – right there! It’s recommended that you wear clothes you wouldn’t mind getting some fake blood on (even though you’ll be covered with a protective bib) and be ready to rock an awesome look for the rest of the day.
On both Saturday and Sunday you can take part in two incredible events – one is The Walking Dead Experience which is said to be “an attraction that drops you straight into the chaotic and terrifying world of the Walking Dead”. Could you want anything more than that? You’re put in small groups where you exist in the middle of a zombie break out – think you’re brave enough to survive, if so, make sure to purchase your tickets early!
You’ll also have the opportunity to experience the Zombie Apocalypse through a “live action” shooting experience – and they’ve vamped up the set this year! You’ll be fitted in military gear and given an assault rifle before being given a brief training and being sent out to help save the world from zombie takeover!
