Here at CelebMix, we love nothing more than introducing our readers to new, up and coming talent. In this article, we introduce you to Irish four-piece Wild Youth – comprising of members Callum McAdam (drums), Ed Porter (guitar/vocals), David Whelan (vocals guitar) and Conor O’Donohoe (keyboard/vocals).
Their new single, titled ‘Can’t Move On’ tells a truly heart-breaking story of being unable to move on from a previous relationship. The track is tinged with the feeling of regret. ‘Can’t Move On’ was co-produced by Mark Sheehan and Danny O’Donoghue from The Script.
The band’s debut single ‘All or Nothing’ was released in 2017 and has received over half a million streams on Spotify. ‘Can’t Move On’ represents their first release of this year.
Following on from the release of their debut single, the band went on to release second single ‘Lose Control,’ which continued to increase their popularity, landing them support slots with artists such as Niall Horan, JP Cooper, The Script and many more.
The quartet are now preparing to support Kodaline on their upcoming European tour and they are rounding the year up with several headline dates in their Ireland, giving them the opportunity to perform their original music.
‘Can’t Move On’ truly allows the band to showcase not only their incredible vocals, but also their phenomenal musical abilities.
