As we at CelebMix celebrate our first birthday there’s absolutely no way we could properly enjoy the festivities without first giving thanks where thanks are due.
We are thankful for the ability to write each day, to bring you news stories and features about the biggest stars around. We are so thankful for the celebrities who notice positivity from our pieces and their fans who are able to see more of it on their social media accounts. We are thankful for the strength of our team and the belief that kindness matters and is worth focusing on, but absolutely none of that would be possible without the thing we are most thankful for, the thing we’ll always be most thankful for.

Since CelebMix was started, the success of our website has fallen on the dedication of our readers, the people who look to us for stories, the viewers interested in the material that we put out – and we won’t ever be able to put into words how much it means that so many of you have supported us on this first leg of our journey. Writing at CelebMix has been a blessing to all of us, and you’re the reason behind it.
Each time you share an article, take a quiz, tweet a piece, or give us feedback – you’re helping the future of CelebMix and making it possible for us to keep trying to bring a light and a kindness back into the media and bring awareness to the wonderful things your favorite celebrities take part in, be it a world tour, film release, a new hit single, or charity involvement.
Over the last 12 months there has been a surge of empowerment from celebrities in the media; young adults that other young adults look up to are using their platforms, their social media presence, and their talent to speak up for those without a voice, to stand up for social issues that matter and to demand change for those who need it. We are a lucky generation to have idols who understand how important it is to stand for something larger than themselves. We feel privileged to get to tell these stories and connect dedicated fans to the artists they love.
With the surge of empowerment from celebrities came a surge of empowerment from their fans. Now, more than ever, fans of television and film stars, musicians, and rising artists are working together to show gratitude in ways like joining charity drives, donating their voices and time to spreading messages from their favorite celebrities, and giving to others any chance they get.
There is a lot of beauty, kindness, and love to be found in the world if you look in the right places, and seeing young people – both celebrities and their fans – so passionate about changing the world we exist in and making a brighter future for everyone is something incredible. As writers, we’ve seen some of this first hand and we want to thank you for that too – for your kind hearts and dedication, and for chasing happiness.
We love getting to be part of this story alongside you and getting to narrate it as we go along. For as long as there is celebrity news, we’ll be here, and we’ll be thankful to each and every one of you.
