Summer is the perfect time to binge watch movies on Netflix, go to drive-in movie theaters with that special someone, and hit your local cinema to see the latest box office busters. And a good movie isn’t much without a great soundtrack. So, we’ve taken to Spotify to compile a playlist of the 20 best songs from movie soundtracks.
Our playlist covers as much of the movie world as possible; we’ve included everything from decades-old gems such as The Sound of Music and The Wizard of Oz, to childhood throwbacks such as High School Musical and Camp Rock, to modern hits such as The Hunger Games and Frozen, and everything in between. And look out for some lesser-known jams as well — you’d be surprised at how much you love the orchestral pieces or the songs from movies you’ve never heard about!
