This David Bowie cover is a Nirvana song a lot of people know. It’s so popular David even said, “kids that come up afterwards and say, ‘It’s cool you’re doing a Nirvana song.’ And I think, ‘Fck you, you little tsser!'”
4. Lithium
“I’m so happy because today I’ve found my friends, they’re in my head.” This lyric is at the beginning and end of the song. When people hear it, they know exactly which song it is.
3. Heart-Shaped Box
This song continues to dominate the airwaves. There are many different interpretations of what this song actually means. We may never know what the message was supposed to be, but we’ll continue to listen to it.

The guitar at the beginning is something that many people know. When you hear it, you instantly think of this song.
1. Smells Like Teen Spirit
When people think of grunge, they think of this song. This is a song that everyone knows, but they might not know who it’s actually by. SLTP was so popular Weird Al, who is know for his parodies, wrote the song “Smells Like Nirvana.”
