Charlie Puth tweeted Wednesday night that he had some good and bad news for his fans.
He has announced that he is, unfortunately, having to push back his second studio album ‘Voice Notes’, due to finishing touches still needing to be put in to place.
“I’m producing this album all myself and with that comes a lot of work, and in my opinion, the album is not perfect yet,” Charlie explained. ““However, it will still come out this year, and soon.”

At least the album is still certainly coming out this year, as we don’t think we can possibly wait any longer! Also loving the fact that Charlie is producing this completely by himself, as we know this is going to be an 100% true reflection of his life and his music! To make it up to the fans for being so patient with this album release, Charlie has announced that today he will be releasing a song he has recently created with Boys II Men.

We definitely forgive you now Charlie! Get ready for a brand new, never before heard collaboration with R&B group ‘Boys II Men’, scheduled to be released today, January 4th.
‘Voice Notes’ is set to be another successful album for Charlie, as his singles ‘Attention’ and ‘How Long’ have charted at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.
To also fill your Charlie Puth void, here is a list of albums due to be released in January:
- Camila Cabello – Camila. Released January 12th.
- Craig David – The Time Is Now. Released January 26th.
- Fall Out Boy – Mania. Released January 19th.
