Charly Jordan dropped her new club banger, “No Sleep,” a few days ago. The track does double duty: celebrating Pride Month and kicking off Charly’s residency at the brand-new Zouk Las Vegas, becoming a member of movers and shakers like Zedd, DJ Snake, and ZHU.
Talking about “No Sleep,” Charly shares, “This track is inspired by pride month, so obviously I had to include Lady Gaga seeing as she is an iconic LGBTQ advocate. I grew up in a super repressed religious family and watched many of my close friends struggle with being open about who they were. I always love to express stories through music and being able to make something that’s fun and meaningful is always the best. I hope you guys enjoy!”
“No Sleep” showcases Lady Gaga’s renowned interview refrain – “bus, club, ‘nother club, ‘nother club…” – merging the sassy sample with a potent, throbbing bassline.
A Gen Z social media influencer with beaucoup gifts, Charly Jordan’s multiplicity of talents include athleticism, modeling, and music. She played competitive soccer for 12 years, along with running track and taking the top spot in the Diamon Kids Triathlon. She followed by entering the world of modeling, working with prestigious brands such as Pura Vida.
On “No Sleep,” she demonstrates her songwriting and vocal skills, skills influenced by her international travels and immersive house styles. Last year, she put her producer ability on display, releasing “Blackstrap Molasses,” “Wanna Go” with Riot Ten, and “Love Sets Me Free.”
“No Sleep” begins with a looping sample of Lady Gaga’s famous phrase, rolling into a magnetic house rhythm topped by Charly’s voice, infusing the groove with tasty nuances atop thrumming, driving club patterns infused with dazzling colors, as well as a fat, popping bassline.
With “No Sleep,” Charly Jordan parades her galvanizing vocal flow and her knack for scrummy beats, pumping out a dazzling house composition.
