The album Our Own House went Top 20 in the US iTunes Album Chart upon its release in February and hit No.3 in the Alternative Album Chart. Following this, MisterWives topped the Billboard ‘Emerging Artists’ Chart and were globally touted by VEVO in their prestigious VEVO Lift series.
Spotify Chief Executive Daniel Ek has named them as the No.1 Discovery band in the world in his recent keynote speech, recognising their huge global appeal. Our Own House has already topped 100 millions plays on the streaming service and still benefits from constant daily growth.
MisterWives have recently completed the largest headline US tour of their career, which sold out in every city they played, and also included high profile festival appearances including Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits and many more.
‘Our Own House’ is MisterWives’ first UK single proper following the highly acclaimed Reflections EP released digitally last year, which saw them tipped as a 2015 MTV Artist To Watch and went Gold in the USA, among many other high commendations. MisterWives have just announced their headline ‘Scrapbook Tour’ of North America, which hits 26 cities from late September until the start of November.
