Cher Lloyd has been extremely quiet on the music scene since 2014, when her sophomore album ‘Sorry I’m Late’ was released – releasing only a couple of singles and a collaboration from then up until now, but nevertheless, she made her biggest comeback this year and we’re here to round up what Cher has been up to in 2018.
Cher announced her return to music in the biggest way she possibly could and had all of her fans over the moon when she took to Instagram to announce that the reason she has been quiet for a while was due to taking some time away from the public to focus on her personal life, work on new music and also because she was expecting her very first baby with husband, Craig Monk!

From February onwards we was treated to photos of Cher in the studio recording her soon-to-be third album, which we’re yet to hear more about and it wasn’t until May 28th, that we received some big baby news – Delilah-Rae had arrived!

Jump to June 15th and Cher announced a collaboration ‘4U’ that she had recorded with Swedish producer, Joakim Molitor, whilst recording her own album. The pop banger came just in time for Summer (as Cher promised) and was the perfect warm up for us in getting ready for what was to come in regards to her own solo music.
In July, Cher continued to share sneaky peek photos of little Delilah-Rae with us, so it was most certainly a month of swooning! She also celebrated her 25th birthday.

And October 19th finally arrived with a brand new single AND a brand new music video!!
Cher carried on her NOMB promo tour by visiting BBC Radio 1 and Good Morning Britain, where she spoke about living in LA, X Factor, her relationship with Cheryl and what it’s like to be a working mum.
Mid November, Cher went to Little Mix’s release party for their fifth album ‘LM5’, where she mingled with the ladies herself.
On December 2nd, Cher announced that in celebration of her hitting 3 million subscribers on YouTube, the site would be hosting a live showcase for her new single ‘None Of My Business’. Her fans were invited along if they shared questions that they would love to ask her underneath her IG post.
On December 6th, the event took place at London Space, where she sung a couple of her singles, With Ur Love and Want U Back. She then threw it back to 2010, with her X Factor audition song, Turn My Swag On and then she finished the set off with None Of My Business. After her acoustic set, she then moved on to answering the fan’s questions.
And that’s wrap up Cher’s 2018! We can’t wait to see what 2019 has to bring – hopefully it’s more music, even an album, music videos, photo-shoots, events and of course, a whole lot more photos of Delilah-Rae!
