At the end of last month Cheryl was snapped taking a selfie between takes by her PR company Supersonic PR. The snap was shared by the company on Twitter.

Supersonic PR later confirmed that Cheryl was working on a new project which would be announced “soon”.

And it has now been revealed that the kindhearted star is the new face of ChildLine.
According to the Sun newspaper Cheryl-who earlier this year was awarded the Global Gift Philanthropist Award– has filmed a series of adverts for the latest campaign from the NSPCC.
The newspaper reports that the former X Factor judge who also runs her own charity the ‘Cheryl’s Trust‘, filmed the adverts at a secret location in London at the end of last month.
The emotional commercials will feature the ‘Only Human’ singer sitting on a stool as she gives a moving speech!
But we will not be hearing her familiar Geordie accent, instead we will hear the voices of various ChildLine callers which she will mime over, including one child who has been sexually abused, and another young caller who is fearful about coming out to his parents.
According to The Sun a source says that:
“The adverts are sure to get a lot of people talking. They’re very emotive and there’s no gimmicks. Cheryl was delighted to be asked to take part in the ads as it’s a cause very close to her heart.”
At the moment neither the NSPCC or Cheryl have talked about the new campaign but the adverts are set to be aired soon.
