Singer and performer Cheryl, first joined Modest! Management back in 2014 prior to the release of her top-ten hit album ‘Only Human’, but less than two years later the former X Factor judge has cut ties with the company.
Modest! are famous for making stars such as One Direction, 5 Seconds of Summer, Little Mix, and Olly Murs household names, but it seems the Geordie babe has decided to take her career in a different route.
Cheryl’s time with Modest! was a successful period in her career as she topped the singles chart twice with tracks ‘Crazy Stupid Love’, and ‘I Don’t Care’, which in the process made her the first ever British female artist to top the UK singles charts five times.
According to The Sun newspaper Cheryl has decided to return to the music scene in late 2017 with a brand new management team, sound, look, and overall image. Her fifth studio album is due for release at the end of 2017.
The Sun’s source also says that both Cheryl and Modest! have parted on “good terms”.
The source according to the newspaper, says:
“Cheryl’s left on good terms with Modest, there’s been no fallout at all.
“She currently has no management but that will change next year when she’s planning on making her chart return.
“Cheryl has grown as an artist and wants to return with a fresh look, sound and image – which will be reflected by her new management.”
The news comes as the pop star gears up to celebrate 14-years in the music industry after exploding on to the scene on Popstars The Rivals way back in 2002 as a fresh faced 19-year-old, where she was put into the girl group Girls Aloud.
