Cheryl made a triumphant return to the X Factor stage, as she appeared on tonight’s results show to perform her comeback single ‘Love Made Me Do It’.
The singer, 35, graced the stage in a dazzling black ensemble and knee-high boots to perform the single, in her first live performance in four years.
She was accompanied by her backup dancers, as she performed intense choreography to the song whilst singing live.
And just when you thought the performance was over, Cheryl emerged into an epic dance breakdown to finish the performance off. The judges even gave her a premature standing ovation, as claimed by X Factor host Dermot O’Leary.
After the performance, Cheryl exclaimed that it was great to be back on the X Factor, having previously been a judge on the singing competition between 2008-10 and again from 2014-15. However, she joked that she did not miss current judge and former colleague, Simon Cowell.
The incredible performance has given Cheryl a much-needed boost to the song, which debuted at #19 on the UK Singles Chart on Friday. Hopefully, the performance encourages more people to stream and download the single.
