‘Love Made Me Do It’ is the first taste of the former X Factor judge’s upcoming fifth studio album and she welcomes in the new era is style. The new track is a sassy anthem that shows a whole new side to the Geordie superstar.
It’s pop/dance infused track that showcases a new higher vocal tone from Cheryl and it’s unlike anything we have heard from her before: Think Selena Gomez vibes.
The catchy lyrics pull no punches and take aim at the 35-year-old’s former lovers with verses such as “should have used my head, cos my heart really blew it” and “Oh my god I’m such a sucker, fall in love with every fu*ker”.
It’s a fresh take on the pop genre and Cheryl bursts back onto the scene in style. ‘Love Made Me Do It’ is an anthem and Soldiers (Cheryl’s fans) will be rejoicing that their idol has returned with such a massive banger that promises to become the major earworm of 2018.
The mother of one has been given full creative control by her new label 3Beat and it really shows with this track that is an instant hit.
