‘Forever unreleased’ no more! The track we have all been waiting for since 2018 is finally here! “Did You” get excited about it yet?
This New Music Friday, we are being blessed with a song that we wanted for a long long time. After debuting the track at various events over the course of the last (almost) two years, 4B finally dropped his collaboration with Chris Brown today.
The track is titled “Did You” and truly delivers the best of both artists’ worlds. The song kicks off with Brown’s silky vocals laid over a simple electronic beat. As the song progresses, more and more elements are mixed in until we reach the first climax. “Did you let somebody hold on to you the way I would?”, Brown sings slightly distorted over a synthy drop. It is emotional, yet dance-able, showcasing 4B’s talent at blending blends smooth with upbeat parts in order to create a tune that will for sure be a necessary addition to your party playlists.
