The iconic Coca-Cola Christmas advert made its annual TV debut last night (Nov. 19) and we finally feel like it’s officially Christmas (and who cares if it’s still November!).

This year’s advert, which celebrates its 21st year on air, premiered during tonight’s X Factor, and then again during I’m a Celebrity. It has stuck to previous formats, with ‘Holidays Are Coming’ playing as kids open the curtains to watch the illuminated trucks wind around the roads before the Coca-Cola Father Christmas appears.

The big red truck has become a legend over the years. In 2007, the company tried to replace it with a new advert but fans were so distraught about Christmas being ruined that Coca-Cola brought it back within weeks.
The iconic image of the truck passing through snowy hills was shot and filmed in Vancouver, Canada over a four day period, featuring a cast of more than 40 people.
The Coca-Cola ad follows in the footsteps of John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s who have already released their Christmas teasers.
