It’s been over a year since we last heard new music from Coco Jones, and now she is back, bigger and better than ever.
Today the Disney-born diva released her new single ‘Miss Me When I’m Gone’ and she is out to remind us what a powerhouse she is. Jones has experienced success with previous singles including ‘Holla at the DJ’ which sold over 150K downloads on iTunes and held a spot in the top 5 on Radio Disney for 10 weeks.
On this track Jones shows off her powerful voice, belting out heartfelt lyrics about missing someone she loves, over a strong, steady beat. This is the perfect fall track for us all to play on repeat and sing along.
When asked about her inspiration for the song Jones had this to say “’Miss Me When I’m Gone ’was actually a prewritten song that reminded me of a situation I’ve been through in life. I feel like the song is very relatable because of all the tragedy going on in the world. So when I recorded it I was inspired by my situation; and the many lives that have been lost, I feel like it’s a song for anyone who’s been hurt before.”
We’re hoping ‘Miss Me When I’m Gone’ is our first taste of new album coming our way, we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled for more Coco Jones updates.
