YouTuber Colleen Ballinger, also known as fictional character Miranda Sings, has shared a double whammy of exciting news with her fans. In her latest video, she has revealed that she is both expecting her first baby and engaged to her partner Erik Stocklin.
The adorable video begins with footage dating back to April when Colleen discovers that she is pregnant. We are then shown a montage of clips including Coleen breaking the news to her friends and family, baby scans, her growing baby bump and more.
Joined by Erik on screen, the pair confirm that they are expecting their first child together. Due to Erik not being an Internet person, Colleen continues the video alone and speaks about being 13 and a half weeks pregnant and her journey so far. During so, she reveals that her and Erik actually got engaged earlier this year and we couldn’t be happier for the pair.
Colleen reveals that she wanted to ‘Kylie Jenner’ us all by keeping her pregnancy a secret, especially as the first trimester is the most important. She also kept it private to begin with as she was terrified at the thought of receiving anything but positive comments about her pregnancy.
However, thanks to a growing baby bump which she is unable to hide especially whilst on tour, Colleen decided to share her wonderful news with the world. Talking about her forthcoming YouTube content, she confirms that there will be a certain amount of baby videos, including a gender reveal, telling her friends and family and more. Fear not though, Colleen will still be releasing her usual videos too.
But what about Miranda Sings? Colleen has a plan in store for the crazy character so you’ll have to keep an eye on her channel for the next six months.
