Australian electronic artist Commandeur has teamed up with frequent PNAU collaborator Ollie Gabriel on Commandeur’s latest soaring anthem, ‘Me and You‘.
Hailing from Australia, Commandeur has been spending his time in isolation creating beats that solidify himself as one of the freshest faces within the music industry. This time around the Sydney native has followed up his beat heavy dance single ‘Feel the Love (featuring renowned pop artist KLP)’ with a song that essentially began over a cup of tea:
“Back in January, after an exhilarating Falls Festival run with PNAU, Ollie and I were winding down in Sydney and were keen to jump in the studio together”, he explains on the creative process of the single. “He [Ollie] came around to my house where we drank tea and chatted through our lives and what 2020 was to hold for us.”
Excited and optimistic for the year ahead, we [Commandeur & Ollie] talked about the amazing support network that our partners provide and how important it is to support and lift each other up in every aspect of your lives.
Commandeur
It was that conversation that set the wheels in motion for what would become ‘Me and You’.
While still relatively young, Commandeur has managed to make a name for himself already by how much he has developed his skills as an artist and storyteller through his music. ‘Me And You’ is a great single that showcases how two worlds can come together nicely to produce a song as bright, and happy-go-lucky as this. Commandeur is one to watch.
Commandeur & Ollie Gabriel’s ‘Me and You’ is now out on digital streaming platforms through Risque Music a division of TMRW Music.
