On Wednesday, May 25th Selena Gomez took the stage at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario for her headline tour “The Revival Tour” and we had the pleasure of being there firsthand to witness it all!

Excited fans lined up outside of the venue hours before the show, long anticipating what they referred to as the soon-to-be “best night of their lives”. When the doors opened at 6:30, many fans hit up the nearest merch and concession stands they could find before show started!

New Jersey native Bea Miller, kicked off the show with one of her singles “Young Blood“. We must say, the use of drums in the opening of the performance was amazing! It definitely got us excited for when Bea finally walked on stage! Soon after, Young Blood turned into a new song Bea has been working on behind the scenes titled “A Song Like You“, which turned into her newest single “Yes Girl“. We have been long awaiting her new album and we are excited to hear all the new tracks! Bea then performed a beautiful cover of “Never Forget You” by Zara Larsson and ended her set with “Fire N Gold“.

We think it’s fair to say that the beginning of the show was definitely off to an amazing start!

Following Bea Miller, DNCE came out and the entire stadium exploded in excitement. The band definitely brought the stadium to life, with their energetic personalities and music! DNCE sang some of their own songs including “Toothbrush” and “Cake By The Ocean“, but they surprised the crowd by doing a tribute performance to Prince and singing “We Are The Champions“, in honor of the Toronto Raptors who were playing a game that night in Cleveland. The band also decided to put on Raptors jerseys to show their support for the team!

    How amazing are they?!

And finally, after long anticipation Selena Gomez hit the stage which had the stadium erupting in shear excitement and overwhelming joy! The performance started off strong with “Revival” including amazing lights, sound, dancers and of course, Selena herself!

The show still continued strong (including many amazing costume changes) while the fans passionately sang every single word of every song Selena performed including old songs such as, “Who says“, “Love You Like A Love Song” and “Slow Down“. She also performed covers such as “Sweet Dreams” by Eurythmics and one of her new songs that she’s been working on titled “Feel Me“.

To end a beautiful and energetic night, Selena did one last costume change into a Raptors jersey to show her support for the team; hyping up fans before the show ended by jumping around on stage and whipping her hair around to a remix of Revival.

Definitely a perfect ending to a perfect show right? We had loads of fun at Revival Tour Toronto and we recommend going to catch a show before the tour ends!
