Speaking on “Lightspeed,” VALÉ revealed: “I wrote ‘Lightspeed’ after getting off tour last year when everything in my life felt like it was moving 100 miles per hour. The song really reflects what I was feeling—overwhelmed, excited, but mostly just ready to keep going. It’s about momentum, about owning your moment, and letting yourself be pushed forward by the chaos instead of held back by it.”
This single follows her bilingual breakup anthem “vueltas” and continues to build on the vibrant sound introduced in her debut EP, ‘under the sun.’
