This year, Valentine’s Day is set to land on a Sunday, and you know what that means –– time spent relaxing and hanging out with loved ones.

If your relaxation time is anything like ours here at CelebMix, it consists of lounging with a bunch of blankets, eating yummy foods, and catching up on our favorite shows and YouTube videos. Valentine’s Day is a special day, one that’s purposefully full of love and affection. It’s no coincidence that this February we are absolutely head-over-heels for YouTube sweetheart Connor Franta.

There’s so much to be said about Connor, from his good looks, to his adoring smile, to his wavy brown hair, to his compassionate personality. Charming, comical, cute, creative, curious –– Connor’s got all of the best aspects of the perfect valentine.

So chill out on your bed, turn your screen brightness up, and take notes –– here are our 5 frantastic reasons for why we’re swooning over Connor Franta this Valentine’s Day!

5. He would be well-mannered.

There is something to be said about what it takes to makes a relationship or friendship work. Boys don’t have to act one certain way, just as girls don’t have to act one certain way. (And if you don’t associate with any gender at all, that’s completely perfect, too –– there is no labeled way to behave!)

However, every friendship or relationship should be balanced. Each side has to put in effort to make the other feel welcome and happy, and one should treat others as they would want to be treated –– with respect, kindness, and dignity. Connor is a person that truly seems to fit that bill — he’s be polite and considerate, and would never try to put you into an uncomfortable situation, because he himself knows what it feels like to feel uncomfortable with your own skin.

He’d care about your thoughts and feelings, and that’s really all it takes for him to be the perfect valentine. (But we’ll keep on going with this list –– we love Connor in so many ways!)

4. He’d take you out to somewhere tasteful.

One of the best things about keeping up to date in the life of Connor Franta is seeing all of the cool places he visits in Los Angeles and around the world.

Whether we get a glimpse of Connor’s life through stunning Instagram photos, silly and sassy tweets, or exciting YouTube vids, it’s never a bore watching Connor travel throughout the year. As it goes with visiting so many unique places, Connor seems to have an interest in cool restaurants. He often goes to the cutest coffee shops, as seen by the amount of aesthetic latte pics on his social media. He also seems be a regular at trendy restaurants and cafes, or healthful restaurants with dishes like avocado-on-toast.

We speculate that Connor’s good taste means he would take you out to somewhere delicious –– not necessarily expensive and elaborate, but somewhere charming where you could just hang out and spend time with each other. Oh, how we’d love spend a day with our lovely Franta!

3. He would take great photos of your day.

We’d be complete and utter liars if we had something bad to say about Connor’s photography.

It’s no secret that Connor Franta’s visionary camera skills translate seemingly effortlessly from his YouTube videos to Instagram to everything in between. He has a knack for capturing those perfect moments, and a keen eye for observing and playing with the finer details that go into taking a beautiful picture.

2. You’d never stop smiling.

Let’s face it, Connor Franta is absolutely adorable.

He’s got these pretty ocean-like eyes, fluffy hair, and that bright, winning smile. And then there’s his charming personality and witty sense of humor –– not to mention that giggly spectrum of laughter that makes his eyes crinkle at the corners before throwing his head back in glee (yeah, you know what we’re talking about!). It’s pretty hard to not feel happy when watching one of Connor’s videos, and it’s why we can never not smile when we think of him.

Now, Connor has said himself that he can be a shy person, someone that’s not much of a social butterfly.  Despite this, everyone who has watched Connor throughout the years has seen how he has blossomed into this person that is genuinely confident of himself –– not just of his sexuality, but also of his work and creative outlooks. We’re proud of Connor (like, really proud) and our love for our valentine just keeps growing!

1. He’d be very poetic.

Call us cheesy, but there are few things more romantic that a few melodious lines of poetry. For us, poetry is a way to express your feelings and thoughts in a way that shows that you mean more than just those simple words; you value something or someone at a level deeper than what it appears at the surface.

Luckily, our man Connor knows how to throw a few lines of poetry himself. He can be very impassioned and eloquent if we wants to be, too. (Connor, you’re just too amazing sometimes, did you know that?!)

We hope everyone has a valentine as perfect as Connor Franta, but if you don’t have a valentine this year, don’t fret! Keep your chin up and your head held high––Valentine’s Day isn’t a day to be sad or lonely. Spend time with friends or family, eat yummy food, smile, and be happy! There’s a lot of love to go around in the world, and self-love is first and foremost.

As for you, Connor, we love you to the moon and back. We just hope your Valentine’s Day will be as lovely as we’ve imagined it to be!
