The lovely Conor Maynard has spoilt us once again with another amazing cover.
After recently covering the number one smash hit ‘7 Years’, Conor has now blessed our ears with a stunning cover of Mike Posner’s ‘I Took a Pill in Ibiza’. In true Conor style, he’s also put a little twist near the end, where he mashes up the song with James Bay’s ‘Let It Go’.
Clarifying that the song title remains just that, Conor shared a little story in the description box on YouTube.
“I haven’t ever actually taken a pill in Ibiza… I spent one night in Ibiza about 4 years ago and walked into a woman’s toilets by accident and was greeted by a screaming woman. That was the most exciting thing that happened on my trip.”
Conor’s vocals are so beautiful on this song – we wonder whether he’ll include it on his setlist for his support slot on The Vamps’ UK tour? Whatever he sings, we’re sure that he will continue to sound heavenly.
