Little Mix are hard workers and it’s definitely paying off!

Receiving a numerous amount of positive response from critics and critical acclaim from fans and non-fans around the world, their third studio album effort is vocally strong and plenty of fun.

Featuring a slice of tangy 80’s pop, 60’s girl group tea, and a slight urban edge, this album combines the brassy elements of Salute with the experimental nature of their debut album DNA.

Now, let’s get to the awesome nitty gritty chart details: Little Mix have set a new record on the Billboard 200 chart! (a pretty major one at that).

With their Get Weird album debuting at #13 on the Billboard 200 charts, Little Mix now have three top 15 albums. What does this mean? Well, this means that the group are now officially the ONLY U.K. girl group in history to have three top 15 albums on the Billboard 200 chart.

The Spice Girls initially held this record but their third album, Forever, only peaked at number 39.
In other words, Little Mix are now the highest album charting U.K. girl group in the U.S.

They’re are also the FIRST EVER girl group to have their first three studio albums debut in the top 13 of the charts.

Another piece of news to keep in mind is that when Little Mix release their fourth studio album, if another top 13 album is to follow they will be the ONLY girl group in the history of the Billboard 200 chart to have four consecutive top 13 albums.

Destiny’s Child had four studio albums out each peaking respectively at #67, #5, #1, and #2, while American girl group TLC peaked at #14, #3, #1, and #6.

Guess we’ll be seeing Little Mix on the Guinness World Record book sooner than we thought!

A big congratulations to you girls! x
