Last year, fans helped Cory Monteith’s mother, Ann McGregor, raise money for Saint James Music Academy in honour of Cory’s birthday.
On May 11, 2018, Cory Monteith would have turned 36. This year, we are once again aiming to make a change in this world by helping others in honour of Cory. As many people know, Cory dedicated his time to help at-risk children to find a purpose and happiness in their young impressionable lives, particularly through music and the arts.
This year Ann McGregor is collaborating with Amber Academy in Sooke, British Columbia, Canada to raise money for their program.
About Amber Academy
Amber Academy is a registered non-profit society in Sooke, BC with a focus to create healthier and higher qualities of life for youth by empowering them through the arts. Dedicated to engaging youth in pro-social activities focused on the fine arts, they strive to encourage positive youth development that may aid in the prevention of high-risk problem behaviours and help young people become confident, productive and healthy adults.
