It was announced earlier this month that the record-breaking singer/songwriter Shania Twain will be honoured at this years CMT Artists of the Year Awards! The star who is famous for songs including ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman’, and ‘From This Moment On’, will become the first female to be awarded the prestigious ‘Artist of a Lifetime’ Award at this years CMT event.
It has also recently been confirmed that the legendary performer who is the most successful female country singer of all time, will be honoured at the ceremony by pop star Meghan Trainor.
And now fellow country music stars have spoken to CMT about the legacy of Shania Twain and her music.
CMT Artists of the Year honourees including amongst others, Carrie Underwood, and Luke Bryan, feature in a video released by CMT, talking about how talented Shania Twain is, how her legacy is still shaping the industry, and how her music changed the genre of country music.

The CMT Artists of the Year Awards will be on American TV on October 20th.
