Craig David has unveiled the music video for his latest single, ‘All We Needed’.
The stunning ballad is this year’s official single for BBC Children in Need, and comes from his number one album Following My Intuition.
The video features Craig singing in a warehouse, accompanied by a pianist, violinists and cellists. The emotional track is a far cry from Craig’s usual upbeat numbers, but he proves that, musically, he can do no wrong. It’s great to see his vulnerable side, and he delivers a truly special and stripped back vocal.
Speaking to BBC Radio 2 last week, Craig said: “This song is extremely personal to me, and I’m so proud that it’s the BBC Children in Need single this year.”
Recent MOBO award winner Craig joins a long line of artists who have delivered the official Children in Need single throughout the years. Previous acts include Jess Glynne, Gareth Malone’s All Star Choir, Ellie Goulding and Girls Aloud.
‘All We Needed’ will receive its debut performance on the Children in Need Appeal Show on Friday November 18.
The track is available to download and stream now, with at least 50p from every purchase going to Children in Need.
