RnB legend Craig David has confirmed that he would love to write a record for Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
Speaking to Digital Spy last night on the BRIT awards red carpet, Craig said he would love to write a Garage/RnB song for the Geordie, after admitting that she is one of those artists who can “sing any genre”.
The singer also said that while he and Cheryl met backstage at the X Factor last year, where David performed with Cheryl’s act Reggie N Bollie on the final, he has not met up with the ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ hitmaker since.
But he says he would love to write and record a song with her.
While it looks like we are going to have a completely new style of music from Chezza, who is currently hard at work in the recording studio, the gorgeous singer took time out of her busy schedule to attend last night’s BRIT awards.
The sexy singer was looking, healthy and happy, wearing a stunning yellow Zuhair Murad dress, with her long brunette locks flowing.
The X Factor judge was attending the event held at the O2 Arena in London, to present the award for ‘Best British Breakthrough Act’. alongside former X Factor judge, Nick Grimshaw.
We hope that Cheryl is at the BRITS again next year with some new music for us to enjoy.
