Against The Current release 'Running With The Wild Things' video

Rock on! Against The Current have unveiled the official video for their epic new single ‘Running With The Wild Things’ and it certainly hasn’t disappointed. After stealing our hearts a few years ago, it’s incredibly fitting to see that the band are now wearing balaclavas in their latest promotional clip.

The action-packed video for the track shows Chrissy, Dan and Will on a mission to get back what’s rightfully theirs – but will the heist be successful? You’ll have to watch the video to find out. The dramatic four-minute visual was directed by Samuel Gursky and Eric Teti.

Lyrically, ‘Running With The Wild Things’ is about not following the ‘standardisation of the masses’ – be proud of who you are and don’t feel the need to conform. In that respect, the song reinforces a similar message to the group’s previous track ‘Outsiders‘ but it delivers it in a much angstier manner.

Posting the new video on Youtube, Against The Current thanked their fans and said: “Better late than never! ‘Running With The Wild Things’ is available here on iTunes and it’ll also feature on Against The Current’s debut album ‘In Our Bones’ which will hit shelves on the 20th May. The eagerly-anticipated record will feature a total of 12 tracks; including ‘Runaways‘ which premiered online last month.

We can’t wait to hear the rest of Against The Current’s new material. Going from strength to strength, the band are currently touring Europe and the journey ahead of them is truly exciting.
