Dami Im Has Dropped The Music Video For “Fighting For Love”

It’s been almost three weeks since Dami Im released “Fighting For Love“, now she has dropped the music video.

This is her first single since her Eurovision debut in the 2016 contest, where she came second behind Ukraine’s entrant Jamala. This song has currently charted in Australia at number 64, but after a performance on The X Factor Australia, it’s likely to climb.

The song is, reportedly, slightly inspired by Dami Im’s struggles to fit in after immigrating to Australia from South Korea when she was nine. Check out our review of the song here.

The music video is a pure performance piece, segmented by a dance scene. This X Factor Australia 2013 winner is stunning throughout, in the three different outfits, looking fashionably beautiful. She manages to flood the song with passion, in the video; it’s clear this song means a lot to her.

The engaging dance scene has two contemporary dancers pulling off the choreography artistically. It intricately translates the meaning of the song into dance.

This is not too dissimilar to the “Sound Of Silence” music video, but the song is much more upbeat. We hope remixes will follow soon.
