Singer-songwriter David Mark Bulley has teased his brand new single ‘Where Are You Now’ by releasing an acoustic version on YouTube.
Marking a stronger, more mature sound, ‘Where Are You Now’ reflects on some of David’s past relationships and friendships. With lyrics such as “Played a victim in a movie directed by your lies”, the song is extremely raw. We also see David experiment with a little electro-pop, which gives the track a different edge.

‘Where Are You Now’ is taken from David’s forthcoming sophomore album, which is due for release later this year. In his recent Q&A video, he revealed that his forthcoming music is different, but is extremely personal and truer to him.
The studio version of ‘Where Are You Now’ is expected soon, and will be teamed up with an official music video which David has been teasing on Instagram. Sharing pictures of himself on a private jet, we can’t wait to see what the end product will look like.

Alongside the acoustic version, David gave fans an extra treat by releasing a stunning cover of Dua Lipa’s ‘New Rules’. Whilst the song is extremely iconic, David has managed to make it his own. We’re big fans of the stripped back spin he’s put on it.
